The Wilson in building repeater really works well. When I would use it with my Treo 650 it was ok, but the other cell phones in the house it worked great. I was always under the impression that the 650 had a weak radio and was very particular about signal. Now I use a Treo 700p and have much better results. My signal is much more consistent across my 3600 sq/ft home. As well, the rest of the family still has fantastic coverage with their "chocolate" phones.
All in all, it is a great product. Wilson builds their equipment to military grade specs which are evident when you handle it (very substantial casing). Their tech support is very good as well. They truly want to help you optimize their product in your environment.
It is somewhat expensive, but you really get what you pay for.
