THB Integrated Car Kit

If you want the ultimate Treo compatible car kit, look no further than the Treo Integrated Car Kit.

The Treo Integrated Car Kit, based on THB's CarTalk base station, is configured and designed for hard wire installation and has a separate interface box that installs behind the dashboard. The interface box connects to and powers the microphone, the docking station, your car stereo and/or a premium 5-watt speaker

Unlike the standard Treo Car kit, this Integrated Car Kit can route the sound of your phone calls through your car's integrated speakers and mutes the car stereo automatically while in use. In addition, only the docking station is visible on the dashboard, with the base station hidden out-of-sight.

If it is not possible to route the calls through the speakers in your vehicle, the bundled premium external 5-watt speaker can be used instead for excellent results.

The sound quality inside the vehicle, as well as for the person calling to the Treo, is exceptional thanks to the noise-canceling software. Even at highway speeds, the user can hear and can be heard clearly.

Integration Techniques

• The Integrated Car Kit's Speaker Mutebox connects to the back of the stereo and involves splicing the (+/-) cord and the speaker wires into the Speaker Mutebox.
• If the vehicle’s stereo supports radio mute (see stereo manual), simply connect the yellow cord from the standard THB power harness on to the back of the stereo for automatic shut off/on (radio mute) during ongoing cellular phone use. After the phone call ends, the stereo automatically reverts back to the settings prior to the call.
