The Sony Ericsson HBH-IV835 Headset is the perfect headset for users that are already comfortable with in-ear headphones and are looking for a good Bluetooth headset for their Treo or other mobile phone. Although a little pricey, it's a great headset for people that wear glasses. However, it's not for active users as the headset could easily get bumped off.

StarStarStarStarStar Don't Use with 700w/wx! No Onboard Volume!!
User: Mike Abrams, Oct 22, 2006

Pros:  Small Comfortable stays in ear
Cons:  LOW UNUSEABLE Volume with Treo 700 w/wx

I enjoyed this headset greatly with my Treo 700p.

This is the ONLY bluetooth headset without a volume control ont he unit. It is supposed to self adjust.

However, with the 700w/wx, it is TOO LOW at the loudest volume to hear anything.

The way the w and wx works is it ties the volume control into the bluetooth headeset which I found out by going back to my old Sony 610a.

I would highly reccomend the HBH-610a with the Treo 700 w/wx.

Not only that, My garmin 2820 also relies on the volume control on the actual headset.

Headsets should not come without volume controls regardless of DSP or any of that... this is the ONLY one that doesn't have volume control and it is unuseable and too low!
