Rubber on the device seperates
I have long been a fan of the Sony bluetooth headset lineup. I purchased previously three others that worked very hard. My favorite was the HBH-300 Headset (huge fan). It needed a ear-gel on it to properly fit in my ear (my ear is bit larger than some) but it was the best. The boom on it kept the wind noise down in my car. Totally pleased with it's performance.
I was waiting on what I considered it the successor the HBH-GV435 Bluetooth Headset. I got it the first moment when it was offered. The battery life was great and the pairing was even better than I expected. I was happy for many months . However it began to separate away from the rubber arch after only 3 months. What a let down. Sony I know you can do better than this. I liked the overall performance but this makes me have to tell you my fellow Treo owners to fully bypass this headset.
Sorry Sony for both me and you!

GV435 does not deliver

I bought the GV435 because I needed a light weight headset that didn't hang on a wire. I read extensively and the GV435 seemed to be the best buy - NOT. It paired with my TREO 700P once and the sound was terrible - tinny and very little volume adjustment. Now it says it is paired, but it doesn't answer calls - I have to use my handset. I took it to the Verizon store and we successfully paired my TREO with several other bluetooth headsets.
My Plantronics Voyager is still the best headset I have found!
