FINALLY!!! STYLUS THAT FIT & DONT FALL OUT!!!
User: Catherine Alvarez, PhD/abd, Dec 16, 2008
Pros: PERFECT FIT! DO NOT FALL OUT! NICE COLORS!
Cons: NONE TO SPEAK OF.
Great for the 650
Since I lost my original Treo 650 stylus several months ago, I have been looking for a true OEM replacement. Oddly, it appears that you cant purchase one from Palm, from the cell phone company, or anywhere else. So, I ended up buying 2 different "replacement" sets of styli (one with the pen and one without), each of which claimed to fit the 650. I hated both. First, they both had the black plastic endcap, which I think looks cheap and "replacement-y." Second, and much worse, the ones I bought did not fully fit into the body of the 650 -- the end pieces stuck out rather than fitting the contour of the device. Drove me nuts. Finally, neither of the replacements felt right in the hand. The weight, or maybe the thickness, was just off. All in all, I hated them.
Then I found these. I was reluctant to try again (since I was already $35 into replacements), but I was encouraged by the fact that these seemed to "look" like my original. No black endcap, no stupid pen. When they arrived, I was fuming because the package said 700p/700w. I figured Id bought another product that wouldnt fit the 650 properly. To my surprise, however, the fit is nearly perfect. The bevel on the end is ever so slightly different, but I can only notice that because I was so "used to" the original. I dont think anyone would ever be able to detect that this was not the original by examining the phone. Also, although I too have noticed that the fit on the pink and gold version is ever-so-slightly snug (not enough to bother me), the silver slides in and out exactly as did the original. My guess is that the paint on the pink and gold versions is just slightly more abrasive. Finally, the best "feature" from my perspective -- the "feel" cannot be distinguished from the original -- at least in my hand. My only disappointment was that I had to buy the 3-color pack, since they were out of the all-silver pack. For now, realizing that I will probably lose it again, I am using the pink and "saving" the silver.
So, for those of you who, like me, are trying to replace your orignal 650 stylus with a true duplicate, this is a great product. No bells, no whistles, but an almost-perfect fit that comes as close to the original in look and feel as you are likely to find.

Pros: Price, Fit, Resemblance to Original
Cons: None

Works just like the original
The styli fit very snug in the Treo's canal. One reviewer said it was too snug but I don't find it so. I actually like the slight resistance it gives me because that ensures it won't fall out on accident.
The colors don't scratch off and look very nice with the dark gray background. The tip is firm, doesn't break off (a problem with other models), and is easily recognized by the Treo's screen.

Pros: Fits and feels just like the original, nice having other colors
Cons: None so far

pretty good knock-off!
These fit my 700p quite well - make sure you get the ones that match your treo. The packaging specifies Treo 700p/700w. I have no problems with the "flushness" of the fit. Looks quite good when inserted in the phone. They have what I would consider the right amount of tension as I insert and remove them from the phone.
Comparing them to the original stylus from my wife's 650 I found that they are about 1mm shorter but "appear" to be the same weight. I don't have anything with enough precision to compare their weight. The upper portion does have a slighly different "bevel" on it.
Gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because they're NOT the original. All in all - I'd recommend them!

Better than nothing
In the end it's as functional as a stylus needs to be. I'd just like to not feel like I'm churning butter to insert it into the holder.

Pros: it's a replacement if you're in a jam.
Cons: pretty low quality control (IMNSHO)
