Centro Smartphone Experts F650 Flip Case

Product Description

The F650 Flip Case for Treo is a high quality leather case which offers excellent protection and functionality.

With the flip closed the Treo is fully covered, and since there is a cut-out in the lid for the handset speaker you can still talk on the phone.

Release the magnetic latch to flip the lid open, and you now have full access to the Treo. On the inside of the flip there is storage for a memory card and a few business cards.

At the bottom of the case there are cut-outs for the sync and headset jack. On the back, you will find a cut-out of the speaker phone. The volume buttons are accessible at all times.

A sturdy swivel belt-clip is included with the case. If you prefer to carry the phone in your pocket, the belt-clip is completely removable.

The case is crafted in fine black leather.

  • Compact, custom-fitted leather design
  • Access to all buttons, ports and stylus
  • Hot-sync with cable without removing from case
  • Flip-top cover reinforced to help protect the screen
  • Available in Black leather
  • Memory Card / Business Cards Holder
  • Removable Swivel Belt Clip

TC Review: F650 Flip Case
Reviewed by Douglas Morse
This is a great case—a form-fitting holder that allows easy access to all features of the Treo 650 with a simple flip of the cover. Used to carry the Treo in a pocket or bag, this may be the best case I’ve tried so far. The case also works with an optional belt clip.

So far this case is exactly what I expected. I as mainly concerned with preserving my phone from scratching while at the bottom of my backpack or purse. This case protects the phone from almost every angle. Im not worried about the hinge because I dont sport my phone on my hip. SO its all good!!

Pros:  protection & accessibility
Cons:  tough to close, keyboard may be vulnerable on sides

I am very satisfied with this cover. Not bulky at all, and it protects the camera and screen very well while still leaving easy access to all of the buttons, bells, and whistles. I'm a little concerned about dirt or other small matter sliding under the case edge where the keyboard is, but that's a minor complaint. Hopefully as the leather stretches, it will be easier to snap the cover shut.
StarStarStarStarStar Stay away or be very carefull - it killed my Treo

I bought one of these after my Krussel failed at the multi-adapt. This case looked perfect, and I loved the metal post. But, three problems. The first was that the metal post kept coming loose - I solved that with some epoxy. The second is that the post is too near the center of gravity for the phone, so the case easily rotates and will dump out the phone if the clip is not in place. The final, and fatal, flaw is that the post has a slot (like a screw head) and if that lines up just right with the pin on the belt clip, the post will slip right out. I had that happen a few times and was planning on replacing the case - I waited too long. Last week, it must have popped out while I was loading the trunk. I drove away, reached for the phone to put it in the cup holder, and found it was gone. We drove back and found it on the floor in the parking lot, with the display shattered - making my smartphone pretty dumb.

So, after this and my experience with the Krussel (posted under the 700 in error) I'm giving up on swivel-clip cases.
