Best holster for Treo
User: JS Brantley, Mar 19, 2008
Probably the most useful design for a quick-access holster Ive found (and Ive tried a lot of them). Easy to get to, rides tight to the body, easy to take off belt. Some of the negative comments about the swivel breaking are right on (Ive had to replace the unit), but only after a lot of use and its only $29! As for digging into your side or hip, thats only a concern if youve got a big belly hanging over your belt, because it does ride tight and high on the belt...a real plus when wearing with a suit and not having it bang against things. The only holster Id buy.
Nice design, weak spring
User: Kirk Booher, Nov 20, 2006
Pros:
Handy
Cons:
Not inexpensive
This case has served me well with using a skin but lately the spring in the clip has worked its way loose. Other than that, it is very practical and easy to use.
Clip digs into your hip
User: Chris Bruer, Dec 15, 2006
This case works quite well. Only real problem I could see is that the top part of the clip digs into your hip. I got around this problem by cutting the top of the clip right off! Unfortunately not long afterwards, I somehow snapped the treo-holding clip right off.
Swivel Clip does not last
User: Greg Feldman-Hill, Jun 20, 2007
Pros:
Snug fit, Spring-loaded clip at top
Cons:
Poor design for swivel
As with others who've purchased Seidio holsters, the holster I purchased broke within a few months of my getting it. The locking swivel clip stopped locking, leaving my phone flopping around like a fish out of water. Because I got it direct from Seidio, I was able to return it for a replacement with no problems. However, the 2nd one did the exact same thing. I had it replaced a 3rd time after being told they had "fixed" the problem. However (you guessed it) the 3rd one did the exact same thing. At this point, it's out of warranty and they won't replace it again, which is OK since what I'll get will be like what I have. I've just had to get used to it flopping around. Mostly, it lays on it's side, which is how I prefer it anyway.
Bottom line, it's an OK holster with a flaw.
don't buy this holster if you value your phone

Cons:
week spring and clip affects cards
I would suggest you not buy this holster. My phone falls out all the time. I also lost an expensive memory card because the top clip is centered over the slot and therefore often causes ejection of the card when removing the phone from the holster. Last, the rotating belt clip quickly lost its ability to hold the phone vertical which puts added stress on the top clip and contributes to frequent unintended ejection of the phone from the holster.
