I just extendend my contract with Sprint and ordered 3 800ws for me and my family. Ive been reading about the supplied battery life. I was thinking of getting these "extended batteries" with the doors from your company but my question is, why isnt these batteries working with the device??

I bought this battery to have longer use of my palm troe 800w.
The first battery i send back because it would NOT charge in the phone. Treo central send me a replacement. No problem there. BUT, the replacement dont work either. The treo 800w will not charge these batterys.

Seidio has sent me 2 of these and I have had the same problems with both so I have requested a refund now.
It is a fact, the 800w will not charge this battery with either a wall charger, car charger or USB charger. It gets to a max of 70 on the indicator and as soon as you take it off it will tell you you have 1 or less in 5-10 minutes.
Three other problems I have encountered are (1) the backlight function has become extremely erratic, (2) I have not been able to sync since I installed the first hi-cap battery (even when I install the original Treo battery) and (3) the unit just shuts off randomly at will and I have to pull the battery to restart the unit.
Does anyone know of a hi-cap battery that will work with the 800w?
