TC Review: Redfly Neoprene Sleeve

The Redfly Neoprene Sleeve, referred to as the Redfly sleeve from here on out, is made of a soft, black neoprene material. I love neoprene cases. I love that soft, spongy feel. The case looks to be about 10 1/2" long and 7 12" wide.

The neoprene material is very lightweight and weighs in at 4.7 oz., which doesn't add much weight to the 2 lb. 0.4oz Redfly.

The case is a form fitted case and your Redfly slips right in with no problems. The case zips from the right to the left, closing the case up so that your Redfly can't slip out.

The inside of the case is a soft, satiny feeling material that keeps your Redfly from getting scratched on the way in and out of the case.

The front of the sleeve has two pockets in which you can store accessories. The inside of the pockets are lined with the same soft material as the inside of the sleeve itself. You can carry your Treo Pro in the pockets, a BT headset, a USB cable, micro-SD cards, credit cards, money, etc. You could probably put the big AC power thingy in one of the pockets but it sure would look awfully bulky.

Well, there aren't but so many things you can say about a neoprene sleeve case. The Redfly Neoprene Sleeve is a very nice one though. I like the way it looks and feels. And most importantly, it protects my Redfly. I also appreciate that there are extra pockets on the front of the sleeve for carrying accessories. Mobile gadget geeks need all the extra room they can get. We have all kinds of technical goodies to carry along with us at all times.

If you have a Redfly and want to get something better than the black bag that shipped with it, Redfly has got you covered with the Neoprene Sleeve. It's soft and lightweight and is form fitted for the Redfly. I do wish that there was some sort of carrying handle on the sleeve though. That would have been a nice addition. At $19.95, it's no deal breaker though.
