Best Headphone Ever
User: Matt Sweetwood, Mar 21, 2007
Pros: Works everyway possible, corded / non-corded
Cons: Charging Connection a bit funky
This is an absolutely fabulous piece. Great sound is corded stereo mode, and the best BT headset for calls ever. Can't hear any noise outside when in use. Very comfortable and adjustable.

Great feature to not use power in corded mode. They work just like a stereo ear piece. BT phone mode worked flawlessly, pairing repeatedly, perfectly.

The high quality material, included BT dongle, and semi-hard case are all winners.

The only very minor flaw is the unusual way the charger attached to the unit.
excellent choice of stereo headphones
User: Ed Morris, May 1, 2007
Pros: versitile, can use with many devices
Cons: transmitter could be alittle smaller
excellent value for the price, have looked for a blue tooth for my treo 650, this product not only fit the bill but I can also use it on my IPOD as well. Great sound, easy to use and it impressed my co-workers. several of them ordered the plantronics for their MP3 devices. Can only say that I am very pleased.
Gets the job done
User: Bob Murdoch, Oct 17, 2006
Pros: LOUD volume
Cons: Bluetooth works for phone without the adapter, not for mp3 playback
I hate plugging things INTO my ear, so I needed an over the head solution. Many standard headsets give you that Julie, the Time Life operator look, but the cord gets in the way, and the volume is lacking.

The Plantronics headset just simply works. No wires, and you can use the girl scout cookie sized transmitter plugged in (with an adapter you have to purchase separately to fit the miniplug soccket on the Treo650 like I have) if you want to use it for playback of mp3s (assuming you have a flash card installed installed in your 650) at the gym with no dangling cord issues. A cute little plastic tube catches your voice during phone conversations, and it can slide back into the headset when not in use.

You will kind of look like a geek from Mission Control in the thing, but it folds up and fits inside a small little case, similar to the Bose case used by the SmartComfort2 owners. The only down side is that the headset requires an AC outlet to charge. No car chargers, unless you have an AC/DC converter plugged into your cigarette lighter.

Bottom line, the 650's woefully insufficient listening volume is addressed (am I the only one who has to put it on speakerphone, hold the back of the phone against my head to hear the other caller and then flip it around to talk?), the cord is eliminated, and your ear doesn't go raw from sticking a cork in it constantly. A little pricey, but worth it if you travel or drive a lot.

Note that a headset that covers both ears is illegal in many states (but, it's hands free officer!), so keep one half of the headset touching that bone on your neck BEHIND your ear when your local gendarme wants to serve and protect us from your obliviouness since you might now be able to hear his siren when you are rocking out to that new Evanescence mp3 you "bought".

great sound but not very durable
User: Steven Shapiro, Sep 8, 2007
I loved these when I bought them. Great sound. But the cheap plastic housing just broke. Pretty expensive and not surable enough.
