Excellent Headset, the Best at Any Price
User: E Portzline, Sep 17, 2008
Pros:
Charging Options, Sound Quality, No Ear Loop
Cons:
-
Ive compared 5 headsets, from both the old and new Jawbone to Motorolas to Plantronics. This is, by far, the best.
This headset performs an excellent balance between noise reduction, good sound quality, and ease of use. It offers excellent charging solutions, from a case that, itself, charges the headset when not in use (even when not connected to a power supply), to a direct-connect power cord (outlet and USB), Plantronics has made it very convenient to use this headset and to keep using this headset.
Noise quality is superior. When I was comparing it to a Jawbone, even in blind testing, people with whom I was speaking, would always complain about the "modified" sound of my voice. With the 925, not a single person complained about the sound quality.
Jawbone spent too much time on marketing and not enough time learning how people actually use, store, carry, and charge a headset. The Plantronics people have this covered. This is an EXCELLENT headset.
the best did not get better

number uno, this was not the best, so could not get better. in any event, this is not comparible to plantronics 810, which is best in class. this boom is too short to reach mouth, and not effective in wind, especially if ride a scooter and speak at same time, which is law to use handsfree. look at the 810 as alternative.
