Great Case, Period!

Pros:	Look, Feel, Fit, Strong Belt Clip

I just received this case which I ordered to replace my former Palm Treo case, which I have had almost three years. This case looks and feels great and is even slightly contoured on the back to fit flush against your side and not stick out on the ends. It has the exact same type of clip as my old case, which in some of the reviews people have complained about being to strong. After having dealt with different types of clips for many cell phones in the past, where my phone would pop off every time I sat down in a chair with arm rests I must say this is the best case I have ever had. I love the fact that the clip is a part of the case and you have to purposefullly removed the case from your side it will not come off on accident. Anyway, I loved my previous case, and this new case is even better. I could see where a stronger magnet could be helpful in keeping the case closed, but then it would make it more difficult to remove the phone. As long as you dont remove the case, hold it upside down, and shake it, I dont think the magnet is an issue. Bottom line, buy this case!! You will not regret it!!

Read the opinions. This case is outstanding but the belt clip is out of this world strong. With todays wider and thicker belts, the clip just will not let go. I kind of like it though because no matter how hard you bang it or push on it, it will NOT come off. I have owned the Al and Mg case for protection but the clip will not hold up to the strength of the case. This leather case also holds the PDA sideways and not vertical which keeps it out of the way. Buy this case, it is worth it for $25.

Overall I love the case. Clip fine. Enclosure Fine. I don't have to force the treo into it as it just slides in by itself. Just know that you will barely feel it vibrating.

I've tried a couple of different cases, and this is one of the best, especially at the price. The clip is solidly attached to the case (important) and holds pretty well. And, excellently, there's a space for business cards inside! Holds 5 or 10, so you always have them. Well worth the money.

I read all the reviews that were posted about the other cases, and this one looked the best. so i ordered it. when i got the case, it was great. so good that my girlfriend now owns it, she is in the medical feild and needs a study case for her 700p. Now im ordering another one for myself. Highly recommended.

I love this case. I purchased it for my Treo 750 and decided on it mainly because of the pouch inside the case. The pouch is perfect for SD cards and will hold standard size business cards as well. The belt clip is strong and won't slip. Flap/cover is magnetic and is strong enough to keep it closed provided you don't go running around like a 6 year old with it. A lot of thought was put into this...nice job. Highly recommend for business people.

I originally bought this when I had my Palm 680. I have not found any other case that protects as well as this so when my son lost my first one, I naturally replaced it with this. It stays clipped and even tho the metalic clasp seems a little "wimpy", Ive never had issues with it. I do a lot of walking and movement at work. My previous case would not hold and my phone was always dropping. Never have issues with this.

Ive used this for a month or two and it hasnt broken or anything. The belt clip is too tight, as others have complained about. Nothing a little careful bending cant fix though. Also, it fits my Treo 680 a bit loosely, so vibrate doesnt telegraph very well, which kind of defeats one of the main reasons I risked looking like a douchebag to buy a holster in the first place. :)

Cons:	Magnetic closure seems wimpy

Overall, this is a nicely designed case and the internal pocket is a nice touch for SD cards or other stuff. The belt clip is nice and firm and it has a nice soft finish.

My only gripe so far is that the magnetic clasp that holds it closed seems kind of wimpy. It hasn't been a problem so far, but I think it should have a stronger magnetic grab to it.

Cons:	Not the best fit for Treo 680

The Palm Side Case incorporates both good looks and functionality into one neat little package. The cut outs are perfect for accessing your Treo without taking it out the case on the go, as well as allowing for charging within the case when your away from your cradle.

The price is also hard to beat for the quality. So if you do not want your Treo to be at the mercy of abrasive forces while bouncing around in your bag, get the case.

Works with Ultra Extended Battery

Cons:	Difficult to slip clip onto waistband of pants - belt required.

When I added the Seidio 3200mAh Ultra Extended Battery to my Treo 650, I was concerned about cases so that I could continue to carry my Treo on my belt. This case fits the expanded case of my enhanced Treo without any problems. I can place the Treo in antenna down or up and it slides in and out of the case without difficulties. The belt clip is very tight. In fact, if you don't wear a belt you will have difficulties slipping this onto the waist of your pants. Perhaps this will loosen up with use, but I doubt it.

I had hoped to slip my Treo into a Sen Leatherskin case AND still slide it into the Palm holster, but that did not work out. The clip stud on the back of the Leatherskin makes the fit too tight. I think that the snap on the Leatherskin case would also make the fit too tight, even if you ordered the clipless version.

Overall, this is a good case. The only issue I have is the belt clip: the spring is pretty strong and its difficult to attach it to soft clothing (like your running/gym shorts)...otherwise, it looks and feels nice.

Cons:	No hole cut in back of case for phone speaker.

I really like this side case. It looks good and has quality build, magnet closure could be a little stronger, but the phone hasnt come out of the case until take it out. I love the belt clip. I gone thru more of the plastic clips than I can even cound anymore. This is solidly made as part of the case and once its on your belt, its not coming off unless you take it off...at least thats how mine has been. I wish they had cut a small opening in the rear of the case for the phone speaker to be easily heard. I got an exacto knife and made the opening myself and it works great for me...I can hear the phone anytime it rings or alarms. Also, its easy to remove the phone with one hand for answering. I wasnt sure I would like this side case, but after months of use..I would get another without hesitation.

Cons:	Leather comes off belt clip making hard to get on to belt

The case itself is excellent. Holds the phone securely. Soft inside so the phone doesn't get scratched up. However, the belt clip is covered with leather. The stitching on the clip started to give and leather came loose on the inside, making it hard to get the clip onto the belt. Cutting the loose leather off allows the clip to work, but exposes to the belt to bare metal with roughish edges that could scratch belt. The belt clip is not replaceable.

I previously used Seidio's clear hardshell case with the holster, but after the holster's belt mechanism started spinning freely, I decided to buy this Palm OEM case. I like it and it is very professional looking BUT, holy shizzle Batman, is this a pain in the neck to clip onto your belt. That could be a good thing, as it is nearly impossible to knock this off your waist, but a little less tension might be a good thing too.

It destroys belts and then itself

Cons:	it grips so tight that it destroys belts trying to put it on

I liked this holster, but after a year it is destroyed, due to wear of the point of attachment of the clip to the holster. I like the appearance, etc but the clip is so tight that it chewed up my belts and was a real pain-in-the-ass to work it onto my belt in the morning. The grip was so tight that it fatigued its own attachment point in the holster and it just crumpled.

THis was recommended to me by the store employee as being the best thing out there. As soon as I got to my car and tried to utilize it, I knew I was going to have nothing but problems with it. My old case allowed me to keep the Treo in the caseing while I charged it in the car. Not this one. I had to take the phone out of the case in order to attach it to the car charger. On top of all of this, I had the most difficult time trying to clip the case onto my belt. Because of all of the friction caused by my attempting to clip it onto my belt, the leather on the clip began to fray and the metal clip became exposed. Lastly, I have made a number of inadvertant phone calls because of the case. Whenever I closed the case after putting the phone inside, the flap would depress one of the one-touch keys and make a call or whenever I would bend over with the phone attached to my belt, the same thing would happen.

I don't like it. It's too large and obtrusive. The 680 doesn't fit snug. Rather, it rattles around in their like a foot in a shoe 5 sizes too big. Apparently it was designed to store business card. Big deal. Isn't that what your treo is for? Now I need to find a sucker on Ebay to buy it from me.
