I purchased this unit because the ad headline said it "recharged" the phone and "synchronized" to my computer. Unfortunately, as it comes out of the box, this unit does neither. It is a glorified paperweight with a micro-USB socket and plug. Nothing more.
Since I purchased this as a secondary charger/connector, it was a total disappointment. I still needed the bundled cable and charger. Also, I had expected that the single unit would do BOTH functions without the need to switch cables from one place to another -- something I am accustomed to with my HP iPAQ. In short, the unit failed to deliver as promised. Since the cost of return shipping is almost 1/3 the price of the unit, I guess I am stuck with a very expensive paperweight.
