the perfect charger
User: Lisa Wood, May 23, 2007
Pros: small footprint, ease of use, extra battery charger
Cons: a little tough to remove treo but not bad
This cradle is better than I expected it to be. Holds the treo at the perfect angle, cords are long enough, and I love the extra battery charger compartment hidden in the back. The only thing that I would suggest is that they make it a little easier to remove the treo from the cradle. I have to hold down the cradle with one hand while removing the treo with the other.

A must for any Treo owner
User: Pamela Hazelton, Aug 20, 2007
Pros: Charge phone & battery simultaneously
Cons: Bulky - takes up too much room when traveling
This is a must if you have a spare battery and want to charge phone and spare simultaneously, using a single AC power source.
Treo 650 Cradle with Spare Batt. Charger
User: Philip Webber, Dec 31, 2006
Pros: Charge your Treo and a Spare Battery
Cons: Haven't found one yet.
This cradle is great for me. I have mine on one side of the room on a table. I have a bluetooth adapter on my pc so I can Hotsync without the cable connected to my PC. Works great for me. I Highly recommend it to anyone who owns a Treo.
Works great but USB connecter can be sensitive
User: Jim Bowdren, Jan 16, 2007
Pros: Works great and charges a second battery
Cons: USB cable can become loose
This is a good cradle for charging and synching. It holds the phone securely and allows operation while in the cradle, and charges a sapre battery. The USB connecter seems to lossen after about a year and may require reseating or jiggling if a hot sync fails duw to lack of connection to the PC.
This is my favorite cradle by far
User: Dieter Bohn, Feb 21, 2007
It is great to be able to have a spare battery charged all the time. Works with all Treos since the 650 too!
Just received in mail today 3/6/07. Great
User: Judith Mann, Mar 6, 2007
Pros: Just what I wanted
Cons: Nothing bad to say
I've had this thing for 3 hours and already I love it. I recommend it to anyone who owns a treo.
Works great
User: Ryan Mindemann, Mar 9, 2007
Great Cradle works well, lasts a long time. I've yet to see one break so far. Holds an extra battery on charge. Will hold the Seidio 2400 battery in the cradle as well as an OEM one.

Too bad Palm still has that lame connector with the power supply but it works fine.
best looking cradle
User: Alan Lee, Mar 9, 2007
Pros: looks sleek on my table
Cons: absolutely none
i was looking for a cradle for my treo 700p and ebay wanted $35 OEM and an sky high amount for shipping. then i found out treocentral is selling them for only $39.95 brand new. what a deal?!! i remember back in palm vx's day when palm included the cradle and now we have to pay extra for it. bummer.. but the cradle looks sleek on my table. actually it looks better than the other cradles listed. highly recommend this cradle. i have no problems with the connectors. slide, sync and charge. love it!
Works great!
User: Nicole H, Feb 15, 2008
I got this more for the charging factor than the synching factor, as I wanted it on my bedside table to keep my phone upright where I can see it easily and charge without having to hunt down a power cable... so I havent used it to synch (Because I really dont care if Im only using the cable or not being a laptop user.)

I plugged it in, set it up.. and away we went. It was really that easy, but come on.. its pretty straight forward right? I had read other reviews complaining it sounded like something was breaking when they tried to remove their phone.. but I honestly didnt notice that at all... I did notice that unless I was well balanced, I did have to use two hands to remove it, but thats gonna happen. When standing or sitting in front of it, I can remove my 755 easily with one hand. Its easy to dock my phone and the spare battery charging compartment is a definite bonus.

I chose the palm over all the other brands because of the reviews, and I am not disappointed. The best part is, this cradle will work for my 755 or my centro.. and hopefully, many more treos in the future.
Well-designed, great little charging dock!
User: Brian Mirsky, Apr 3, 2008
Pros: Well thought out, great bay for charging second batteru, connections fit tight, small profile, price is a bargain!
Cons: -
I have to say, this charging dock from Palm is a very nicely made little product. If I had to say anything bad about it, it would be that Id prefer not getting all the overseas adapter plugs if it could save me a few bucks. Other than that, I love it!

So, where to begin... well, it arrived the DAY after I purchased it and even the packaging was easy to open. (No surgical knife needed)
It comes with the USB to dock adapter cable (quite long) as well as the power cable (also quite long) The connections of those into the bottom of the unit are a very snug fit, as is the fit of the Treo into the cradle itself. And the unit is not only light, but not much wider than the phone, so when its docked, you barely see the dock other than the bottom portion with the charging light and the sync button.

What you *do* see is your Treo prominently propped up rather than laying down on the desk, face-up... which means you can see if the display lights up with a call or appointment, and you can use the stylus without having to hold the phone from moving.

And none of this even touches on its best feature yet. I knew it was capable of charging a second battery. But I expected to have to place it in on some strange angle, and use a key or pen to remove it (because the dock seemed so small - how could you get a battery in and out of the inside of it easily?) Ill tell you how... when you remove the Treo from the dock, the back of the dock flips forward, almost 75 degrees, and the battery just drops in and pops out. It really is very well designed and thought out.

Its a great product, well designed, sleek, stupidly simple to use and worth every penny!
Practical and useful system
User: Al Johnnie, Apr 8, 2008
Pros: The pros are extra battery storage and dual-charging capability. Use ful charging ability with either AC or computer usb connections. Allows owner to view his/her messages, incoming-calls, schedules, emails while in nested in its cradle on charge. The
Cons: Here is my constructive critisism about the cradle. Since I use it between 4-8 hours on a daily baisis while the phone is in the craddle. The connection for charging sometimes does not always charge readily. I learned that the sound it makes when charg
I find this product highly affective, functional and practical for my daily administrative tasks and efforts. I can with ease review my daily or weekly schedule, reply to emails, and keep sychronized with my desktop contacts, emails and bluetooth calls.
Does the job
User: Dudley C, Feb 28, 2007
Pros: Long enough cords.
Cons: Hard to remove device from craddle.
This cradle does the job.
The cables are long enough to reach from way behind my desk and across.

The biggest problem is with removing the device from the cradle.
Always feels like something is breaking.
Nice but...
User: Reality Check, Jun 8, 2007
Pros: Synch button
Cons: Synch button
Since this was the only cradle available with a synch button, I bought it hoping to initiate a Bluetooth synch by pressing only one button (instead of having to go to the Hotsynch app). Unfortunately, the button will only initiate a USB cable synch (I was hoping it would initiate the Hotsynch app using the default there), so it didn't work for me. Also my streamlined Treo 680 slightly wobbled in the cradle and it overall looked cheap next to the phone.
If I was you- Id get it
User: Bryan Kelly-Austin, Aug 2, 2007
Pros: Long cords, Stands treo up, does what it says for the most part.
Cons: The blue light in the back is a stylus, you cant see the light AT ALL, the actual charger where you plug it into the wall FELL APART, it was held together by a made in china sticker.
This product does what I want, often I get calls in the middle of the night, causing my TREO to vibrate off my nightstand. This works great and does what it says, but the blue light thingy that I was looking forward to does nothing and is not visable. Also the charger plug i talked abou FELL the hell apart when I plugged it in THE FIRST TIME. It was held together by a sticker. This pissed me off.
