Great Cradle for a Great Price
User: John B, Apr 25, 2007
Pros:
Stylish, Additional Stylus
Cons:
LED not visible from the front
This cradle does exactly what it's supposed to do: it syncs your treo with your PC and charges it at the same time. In addition to that, it comes with an AC adapter so you can place the cradle on your night stand if you wish. Also, the additional stylus is quite useful so that you can leave the Treo stylus in the Treo.
Even while the Treo is cradled, one hand operation is easy and all buttons are easily accessible. Furthermore, the physical connection is sturdy so you can move it around without losing connection.
The only flaw with this product is the fact that the blue LED is behind the cradle and therefore not visible in the front.
Nice Looking!

One of the nicer looking units out there if you like sharper lines. It works well on my desk without too many wires as it only requires USB for power and hot sync. My only issue is that the blue indicator power light is not visible at all from the front of the unit.
Solid

Nice solid heavy unit does not slide about. Agree with other reviever about the power LED
Is there a good cradle out there?!
User: Reality Check, Jun 15, 2007
Pros:
Decent looking; not bulky
Cons:
Two cables hanging out back; cheap plastic
After returning the Palm cradle, I ordered this one. There don't seem to be any really good cradles out there. Quality is a thing of the past. This cradle is made of a lightweight plastic (even the front "silver" part is plastic; not metal as it seems in the picture). The USB cable is permanently connected to the back of the cradle so, if you're like me and don't want to hook up to a USB port, you have this useless cord hanging off the back. I just wanted the charger function. The charger cable is very short, but long enough for me. It took my phone 1.5 hours to charge completely on the Palm cable and it takes over 2 hours on this cradle. The back of the cradle is not sufficient to support the Treo if you want to work on it when docked. The included stylus is a piece of clear extruded plastic which I am embarrassed to leave on the cradle - it looks so cheap. And if you do leave it on the cradle, it gets in the way of pressing buttons while supporting the back of the phone. As I write all this, I may just return it...
i think you get what you pay for
User: need another cradle, Feb 19, 2008
Pros:
nice shiny black
Cons:
didnt work for very long
i originally bought this unit because of the few reviews and the price. well, i got what i paid for. it only worked for less than 3 months. it still charges, but while phone is in the cradle it is not detected by usb therefore no synch and no usb modem. im an it professional and tried it on multiple pcs with the same result. next i will go with something from a better manufacturer or at least one that has more than a 30 day return policy. id look elsewhere unless you expect to purchase another one in short order.
