Great, tough case
User: Dan Swanson, Dec 16, 2006
Pros: Extremely rugged but with good looks
Cons: Hard to reach buttons through access opening on front
Toughest Case to Protect your Investment
Also the inner lining of the case is most likely to absorb the impact of the fall. I wanted something rugged and able to keep my investment safe. This case ended my search. Definetly worth the $$$'s!
When using your "qwerty" the face plate folds all the way back and simply gets out of your way so there's no need to take your treo out of the case. However if you use your stylus at a regular basis be aware that the glass does not open separatly from the face plate. But I see that it's another way of protecting your screen. The least moving parts the better.
I was really pleased about my purchase and would definetly recommend to other treonauts out there.

Takes a hit and keeps on leaving
The only problem I had was with the clip. Over time it got worse and my phone dropped maybe ten times until finally the display failed. Wearing a phone of this size in this position and expecting trouble free performance from the belt clip maybe is for slim people. If you have any kind of belt over hang you might want to try a horizontal arrangement.
I'm still going to use this but I'll need to find another way to carry it.

Awesome with small flaws
Unfortunately, the neoprene on the inside, which makes it shock-absorbent, slips from its glued position and does things like obscure the camera hole, poke out of the case here and there, and generally degrade over time. Also, the case hinge is glued onto the back, and recently I broke the hinge by rolling over on it open.
Despite these flaws I love my magnesium case!

Pros: Pretty much indestructible; superlight; well-designed
Cons: Inner coating of neoprene slips all over the place; hinge is glued together
