Works perfect
User: James Ritter, Jul 23, 2007
Pros:
excellent battery life
Cons:
Could have been designed 2 allow use of standard holster.
The battery charges quickly but does not get warm while charging. I can now go 3 days between recharging with moderate use. There is no issue with the phone recognizing the amount of power left, (the other reviewer has a glitch or a bad battery). The color match is almost perfect. It is easy to insert and remove the battery and the cover works well. On mine the seams for the cover do not line up as well as the original cover but it doesnt look bad. The batter will not charge in my standard palm charging cradle. The standard palm charging cradle opens to allow a spare battery to charge while the phone is also charging, and even thought the 3300 size battery fits into the charger nicely it causes the light on the charger to blink red and green and does not charge. Sadly the rubberized paint is already wearing off. My big gripe is that the lower corners of the cover stick out for no reason and make it impossible for the treo to fit into an inward facing holster that covers the corners. Seidio makes a great design holster that would fit but there isnt one available for the 750 yet. Right now I am using a camera pouch case :(

Pros:
excellent battery life
Cons:
amount of battery left is unknown
The battery life on this battery is stupendous! It worked perfect for about a week - then the battery left indicator stopped working; I have no idea how much battery is left at any given time. I switched to my old battery to see if it was the battery or the phone and it is the battery.
I guess I'll use it until I see warnings that my battery is going dead.
Great power but quite hefty
User: David Steele, Aug 29, 2008
Pros:
Almost three times the device uptime
Cons:
Difficult to find a case
Lets make no mistake - replacing the standard 1,200 mAh battery on your Treo 680 for this 3,300 mAh battery is going to make quite a difference to the form factor and - all being well - device uptime.
The battery is a good fit, the battery back is near-as-I-can-tell a colour match and its easy to remove. The Treo is heavier but the weight is low down on the device so it doesnt feel difficult to handle indeed having a larger rump makes the 680 easier to hold.
Users do need to calibrate the device once they fit their new battery (run the charge down until the 680 shuts down, plug in, fully charge, turn on and reset, fully charge once more) and mine does warm up when being charged or used heavily (as does the standard battery).
The only disadvantage is finding an elegant case to carry the combination in. Like another reviewer, Im using a camera pouch for the time being.
Battery cant withstand a fall
User: Noah Sumner, Mar 2, 2008
The battery works great at first and makes the 750 a very usable phone. The battery cover isnt a 100 perfect fit but it does the job so no real complaints.
The problem came when my phone got nocked off a table. The phone no longer worked but I quickly discovered the problem was that the battery now wiggled a little and no longer made proper contact. Using the OEM battery worked perfectly. I added a little piece of paper behind the battery and all was well. A coworker than did the same and we cant get his battery to work at all. Again the OEM battery works fine. Dont ask me to explain it but this battery just cant withstand the same falls the Treo itself can!
Only lasted for two charges
User: Terry C, Dec 4, 2007
Pros:
Endless power (almost)
Cons:
Died an early death
I bought this battery because I load a lot of TV shows on my 750 and watch them during the slow times at work. I thought this world be the perfect battery for me. On the first charge everything worked right. On the second charge the battery indicator stopped working, but the battery took a full charge. It lasted the same length of time as the 1st, but with no indicator it emptied with warning. For some reason it wouldnt take a charge after that. Im the second review with this problem. I think this product has issues.
