TC Review: Krusell Cabriolet Multidapt for Treo 755p, 750
Reviewed by Douglas Morse
With an open case, you are making an important decision – that is not to protect the screen. My personal choice is always to have some sort of flip lid to protect my baby. Replacing a screen on a Treo, unless you have ‘stupid’ insurance, isn’t cheap. That said, I’ve been using this case for a couple of weeks now, wearing it on my hip, shoving it in breast pockets, and just in general using it and haven’t had to worry about screen protection. The case itself does create an eighth of an inch bumper all around, so that helps a bit.

The case does its best to maximize usability with all ports and switches accessible. Not only is the keyboard and side rocker easily used, there are also cut outs for both the IR port and miniSD slot as well. There is thoughtfully a scooped cutout for the pen making it easy to withdraw.

StarStarStarStarStar Nice Case
User: Fernando Flores, May 16, 2007

Pros:  Nice snug fit, good access to all ports
Cons:  Camera lens is covered

I agree with Greg on this one, I hope I also don't have to take the phone out of the case! This thing hugs the phone tight!

Has nice cut-outs for all the I/O and ports on the 755p. The only thing I wasn't to crazy about was the fact that there's a big leather flap (used for sliding into a belt) covering the camera lens.

Sure, you can unfasten the two clip-on buttons and hold the flap down with one hand, while taking a picture with the other, but I think you're begging to have the phone fly out of your hands (or the person you give your camera to to take your picture) as the flap is pretty thick, and in most picture taking instances, the *moment* doesn't exactly allow for this elaborate process, much less, having to take a picture with two hands!

If you're not really a big shutter bug, then this case is perfect for you, but if you are like me and are constantly out with friends where the 1.3mp camera is highly used, then I suggest you look for another case.
StarStarStarStarStar SNUG FIT
User: Greg Tallman, Mar 1, 2007

Pros:  Easy Access to all doors/ports except for battery
Cons:  SO TIGHT to put on

This case makes all buttons easily accessible on my Treo 750, however it is a bit too tight "out of the box."

I hope I never have to take my treo out since it was such a bugger to push in there.

At least I know it won't fall out accidentally.

Over all, I've been using Krusell cases since the Treo 600 came out. They are quality cases and this one is no different.
StarStarStarStarStar Great ... except for the clip
User: Jay Nation, Sep 29, 2007

Pros:  Good fit, secures and has all openings accounted for
Cons:  clip is weak, divider on front obstructs top two buttons

Overall a great case, but the connector on the back snapped after getting into my car - had a BB7520 in its stock holster on hip as well and it was fine. Also the divider thats directly above the keypad on front tends to slip down and obstruct the top buttons. Otherwise a great case for the price!
