StarStarStarStarStar Best Stereo BT Headset
User: Brian Athens, Jul 23, 2007

Pros:  Size, Stereo, Battery Life, Display, Upgradable Software
Cons:  Ear Hook

I use the BT8010 with my Treo 750 everyday for about 5 hours. It is great! I listen to downloaded talk radio mp3s and the battery last the entire time when using as a mono headset. In stereo mode it doesnt last as long, but still provides more than enought battery life. The sound quality is excellent with not BT frequency hopping noises. The display is clear and bright. Software is upgradable and I have done so twice. I would never use another headset. You cant beat it! What other headset will let you play BT A2DP on a mono headset! NONE!!!
StarStarStarStarStar Not compatible with the 700p!
User: 700p User, Jan 6, 2007
Pros: Great BT range, good sound, decent fit, can be used on left or right ear in mono A2DP and the stereo earpiece is quite small.

Cons: Not 700p-compatible. Will lose pairing and actually turn the BT on the 700p off, all by itself!! Comfort isn't very good and replacement eargels do not fit.

StarStarStarStarStar Not really compatable with Treo 700P
User: Rodger Roth, Jan 10, 2007

Pros:  Works great for phone service
Cons:  Forget about listening to MP3s directly from your Treo. You will need to purchase an aditional adapter to plug into your stereo headphone jack.

I was very excited about the posiblity of listening to MP3s on my Treo 700P. Not to excited when I received the unit and found no drivers (expected) that would allow me to listen directly from the 700P's Bluetooth. You will need to purchase a separate stereo Bluetooth adapter and plug it into the bottom of your Treo 700P. MAJOR BUMMER.

When Treo Central states that the BT8010 is compatable with the Treo 700P it is a half truth. It is great for talking on the phone but that is all. I would give it one Star, but you are forced to give it at least 2 Stars (another misleading item on Treo Central's web site... everything, no matter how bad will at least get 2 stars.)
