This is a very low quality reader. The USB connection is too short and the plastic surrounding it is too wide to allow it to fit easily into any but the widest and flatest of usb openings. Example it will not fit into the front panel on my HP desktop due to the usb connection being recessed slightly and will not go into back panel USB slot due to width and proximity of other connections.
Plus getting the SD card into it was difficult due to the poor fit and getting it out was even more so. DO NOT BUY this product.
