This clip is not bad for the Treo 755p, but it could use some improvements. On the plus-side, the holster hold the Treo snuggly and the rubberized material works well to soften the contact on use. The biggest problem is that there is not keyboard cutout, or inner rails, to protect the keyboard from being depressed each time you snap it in or out. Its a real pain because calls get disconnected, random phone applications get launched, etc., whenever the device is put in, or taken out, of the holster. The belt clip is also a bit too big. Because of this it doesnt really latch snuggly to ones belt, but rather hooks on over the belt then slides freely along the waist. A smaller clip would grasp the belt more.
Good Holster, Bad Clip
User: Steve Dulan, Jun 27, 2007
Pros:
Holster holds phone securely, minimalist design, looks great with the Treo 755p
Cons:
Belt clip is downright gargantuan
Having just upgraded from a Treo 650 to a 755p I thought I'd upgrade my case from a stock Palm side case to a holster. I searched high and low and finally settled on this SPE holster. The holster itself is well built and cradles the 755p perfectly (face in). The problem I have is with the belt clip. It's HUGE!! As you can see the product description calls the clip "large" but large doesn't do it justice. It's so large that it jabs into my side with every movement. And if it's too far forward on your waste it will jab you even worse when you sit down. So, because of the discomfort when wearing this holster I'll be going back to my Palm side case until I can find a worthy alternative.
Belt clip PIN is junk

The pin holding the belt clip together popped out within hours of use.
Didnt last long.

The rubber clip on top that holds the Treo in place broke with normal use after about five weeks.
NOT the best Treo holster yet

Pros:
The idea behind it
Cons:
non removable clip, accidental activation of buttons, etc
Got it today and used it for about 3 hours before going back to my older Helix holster. The SPE SafeGuard holster does not hold the phone securely and sometimes doesnt fit squarely in the holster when storing it. Phone easily dislodged. The clip is not removable which is a problem for me. My Helix holster has a removable clip so I can hang the phone on my dash while driving... cant do that with the SPE SafeGuard holster. Also, what bugged me the most, the case presses buttons while in the holster. My phone will start beeping while in the holster and I remove it only to find error messages or similar as a result of buttons being accidentally depressed. Helix is a much better design but the problem with them is the top retaining clip is prone to break off. Happened several times to me which is why I tried the SPE SafeGuard.
