This is the best Case I have used on my 680. I have tried the oem palm skin case and the seidio super thin case. the skin case was greatand had a soft feel to it and it kept my treo from getting scractched and it even covered the keyboard to keep a serious texter from wearing out the numbers and letters. the skin case is a great option if you want something with a soft feel. the sedio case ultra slim or super thin whatever it is called was horrible. The front of the case was so freakin flimsy that I couldnt get it to snap properly and I was afraid to break it while trying to put it on. it claims to be 1.2mm thick and that is true it is really thin, BUT thats it period. Wouldnt recommend that case if you were my worst enemy! I opened the seidio case and repacked it for return shipping that same night. The Palm aircase is super awesome. It is made of smooth plastic and yet has a surprisingly durable solid feel and grip. I had doubted my purchase thinking it would be as slippery as the treo 680 itself but was most impressed at how well it gripped the skin of my palm especially for plastic! Anyohe that owns a treo 680 can tell you that it feels like a wetbar of soap without the water (knock on wood) when it is bare naked. It is also clear so it gives your treo a glassy shiny look when held at the right angle in the light. I even got complements from coworkers. It doest add much thickness at all, it fits like a glove. It comes with a plastic holster and even a screen protector. Whoever thought of including the screen protector had BETTER get a raise! I do not use the plastic clip though. It seems a little too akward to take the treo out while it is clipped to your belt. I prefer to use the palm aircase with the oem palm side pouch it slides in and out without a problem and it is still a snug fit. plus the palm oem side pouch has a wallet-esque insert in it for business or credit cards or ID/driver license just dont lose the phone especially if your phone especially if it is in the pouch with that really important stuff in it. oh and the skin case does not work with the oem side pouch because the rubber ends up gripping the inside of an already really snug case. I hope this essay I mean review helps you in your decision making and helps palms sales cuz lord knows they sure do need the extra cashflow right about now!

This is a pretty good case/holster combo. The clear case locks very tight when new. Of course, I found that this can be a disadvantage whenever you run into the inevitable need to reset the Treo. Unfortunately Ive had to reset it so many times that it no longer locks as tight as it used to. (This is the OSs fault, though - not the cases.)
Unfortunately, like most skin-type cases, it doesnt protect the HotSync port very well (a fact I discovered the hard way). Its also a little awkward with LudusP (which remaps the 755p buttons to the 650 layout) the fact that the phone stores inward means that when you put it in the case, it will press the Phone and Home buttons. The consequence is that LudusP users cant make a call then put the phone back in the holster (to talk on a headset) without dialing another number of hanging up the phone. I eventually decided to give up on LudusP and live with the minor learning curve of the 755p button layout in exchange for the protection of an inward-facing screen.
Unlike the previous review, I did not have a problem with the clip arm brushing against the volume buttons when I take the phone out of the holster. It may depend on the hand motion you use to remove it. I normally wrap my fingertips around the phone and push my thumb against the clip arm so that the phone first pops OUT and into my hand instead of UP. This clears the phone away from any holster obstructions before I raise it up to eye level.

Ive owned Treos from the very first to my current 755p. Ive used every type of case-holster-clip available to keep them securely on my belt. When I ordered this case/holster combo, I was at first not too enthusiastic about the clear case. It does fit very well, and in no way compromises phone function (unless you swap your battery frequently). However since it is smooth plastic, you loose the advantage of the rubberized coating on the 755. Its not slippery, but neither is it tacky like the factory coating. The holster is well designed and lightweight. It does swivel, and Ive found that this helps diffuse shock if you bump into something. It also holds the phone very securely. Even if you bump the phone on the bottom and push it up out of the bottom clips. The top clips will still hold securely enough to prevent it from dropping free. The only disadvantage that Ive found with these type of clip holsters is the friction of the clip fingers will definitely rub the finish off the phone after a few months if you us them without a skin or clear case. Hence, the advantage of using both together. My only complaint is that one of the top clip fingers broke on my holster after 4 months of use. Overall, this combination works well together. The clear case protects the phone very effectively. I have zero blemishes on my phone after 4 months of use. As cheap as the holsters are, this is probably still a good option of you like a holster.

I really wanted to like this case, and in fact read alot of other reviews before deciding on this product. To make a long story short.....its already broken and I havent even had it 1 week. I had it clipped to my belt, and as I was getting into my car my briefcase brushed up against the holster and snapped the clip from it. Spring went flying, and the clip itself was damaged beyond repair.
ADDITIONAL WARNING!!! The air case is mandatory because its the only way the phone will sit secured properly in the holster, however it will only really fit face in (so as to protect the keyboard).
B U T when you do this, youll soon discover that as you try to remove the Treo from the holster (like to answer your phone) the top left clip arm will catch right on the volume buttons so that once youve actually managed to remove the phone you cant see whos calling you because the screen is filled with the volume settings.
I am very dissapointed at losing $24.95 and I do not recommend this item to anyone.
