I bought this case because I didnt like the leather ones. I didnt want to have to open the flap just to talk. This case is attractive and stays firmly on your Treo. It is not flimsy at all. The clasps are sturdy and I think it will take a lot of dropping this phone to break open the clasps. Because it leaves the screen totally open, I'd recommend getting a clear screen protector. The keys and navigation buttons are also open. I have no problem hearing from the earpiece. While the plastic is somewhat thick, it still fits into my desktop charger.
Although it is a bit pricey for a piece of plastic, I couldnt find anything of this quality at the local stores. If you're out of luck with the cell phone stores, get this one. You may find that its worth it after your drop your phone on the ground.
Well worth the price!

I bought a very similar case from a kiosk at the mall. I loved it but it was a cheap flimsy piece of junk.
However, the SPE version is MUCH higher quality and was certainly worth the price. The clips are long and substantial, access to everything is perfect.
With this and a screen protector your phone will be very well protected.
Better than ebay fare

Pros:
Clear closes firmly no interference with 755p function
Cons:
Not cushioned still very close to naked Treo
I also purchased a $3 ebay clear case (and another not so clear case) and found that while they looked great, if you pressed on one part of the case you could consistently pop the hooks on that case. Also, after one or two drops, I really didnt feel that case was as solid as I would have liked.
The Smarthphone Experts case has a better hooking mechanism, with a hinge like fit on the left and hooks on the right side. Again, theres absolutely no interference with Treo 755p function, and the case looks fabulous.
Ive been through probably 4 cases now, and while there are more protective cases for the Treo 755p, all of them add so much bulk to the Treo that I cant pocket it comfortably (I like my Treo in my front right pants pocket). The clear case gives you protection, while not adding to the profile of the unit, so its still pocketable.
