I really wanted this to be the one. The window suction mount is strong and easy to adhere, the Treo 700wx fits very nicely. Well made microphone and other wiring included.
But, the speaker leaves much to be desired. I have a relatively quiet Honda Accord and even on a quiet local road commute I have to place the car kit volume on maximum and the Treo one notch below max. so that I can hear audio books. (If I put the Treo at maximum too, it REALLY gets buzzy.)
Also, the Treo needs to be pushed quite firmly into the cradle to engage the speaker at all - good because you know its snug, but bad because it feels like you might damage the Treo if you slip.
Hands free voice calls work well enough. Finally I use Voice Command for Windows Mobile and it understands me much less often in the cradle than when I use the Treo normally.
If they fixed the speaker and boosted the output so I had some play with the volume I would give it another star and consider keeping it.
