I've not had a problem with this product. I have had them for more than 6 months and gave 2 away to friends who also love them. I'm ordering more for another friend that just got a new Treo. We've not had any break on us.

The two reviewers at top (who I think are one and the same) did NOT buy the palm stylus pen but bought the smartphone experts model wher the top coming off too easily is a known problem. the palm one has no such problme. this is on the forums
Do not be misinformed. the problem is with the smartphone experts model -- not this palm one!

I wish palm would make replacement styli cheaper since they are easy to lose. That being said, this replacement works great.

what do i do with the tip?
i bought these cuz there are times when i'm looking for a pen and now i have one in my stylus. the plastic top have not broken off or have i lost them. does the top need to be plastic? couldnt them make it all metal? and i wish i could screw the bottom part to the top when i'm using the pen. these pen stylus are good to have when you have forms to fill out and your seeking everywhere for a pen.
