Rear charging slot does not fully charge battery

Bought one of these off of ebay. Not sure if I got a defective one or not but the rear battery charging slot does not fully charge a battery. 85 is the highest Ive seen it charge, sometimes not even that high (70).

Batteries are good, they will fully charge when using the original charging cable.

Cradle doesnt work most of the time

The cradle suffers from two critical problems. The first one if the fact that it doesnt have a hotsync button! which means if you want to sync, you have to trigger it from the phone software itself. The second problem is that the cradle doesnt work most of the time. Windows would sometimes recognize it, sometimes not. Syncing with the palm hotsync cable works just fine its just this cradle!
