good headset connectivity bad

This was a cheap replacement for an expensive headset that broke and suprisingly it worked pretty well. It sounded good with my treo 650 & 700P. The only problem was that it kept disconecting from my phone.Then I had to turn the headset off and back on to get it to work. I would be using it today if I didnt leave it in my shirt & washed it. Funny thing is that most of the features still worked, just not all the time.
If price is an issue, I would buy

my Treo 700P is constantly losing its pairing. Not sure if it is a phone or headset issue. Comfortable and some tell me there is alot of static

I was impressed with this device until I used it. Horrible sound with really bad static. The only way the static went away was when I put my Trio 700 right next to the headset, then the sound was better. Another co-worker purchased one and had the same problem. I am sending mine back!
