Pros:  Works great with my wifes MOTORAZR vm3
Cons:  Cant voice dial withTreo 650

I bought 4 of the Blue Ant Supertooth 3 units based on what I thought would be hands free functionality. Rings and touch a button and talk. Works good. Download phone contacts, works with some phones automatically, Motorazor v3m, for example, others such as a Treo 650,you really need the phone guide manual for help. To use the voice commands, your phone must support voice dialing. My wife’s $29.00 Motorazor v3m hooked up and loaded the contact list first time perfectly. My $700.00 Treo 650 had trouble multiple times hooking up and keeping the bluetooth recognition. I needed to have a friend, Dr. Wireless, help me with the contact list and even he struggled for 30 minutes before getting the Treo 650 contact list loaded. The Treo 650 needs 3RD party software for voice dialing, The voice recognition does not work well and must have a side button pushed for it to be activated. Does not work at all with the Supertooth 3. I should have got by the Supertooth hype and really studied what it was capable of doing. I have had a Parrot E-Z Drive for a couple of years and It was my first attempt at bluetooth and worked great from the first time. I assumed that a new device advertised as the best would at least a good as my 2 year old Parrot E-Z Drive. With the BlueAnt Supertooth 3, your phone is what will make it perform/not perform as advertised. Parrot units provide all of the voice actuation independently so your phone just provides the connection to your contacts. I bought a Parrot Bluetooth Mini Kit and it works just like My old E-Z drive unit. Phone rings, push a button and talk. Want to make a call? , push a button say the contacts name and then Home, Work, Cellular to connect to the proper number and it dials and you talk. I feel the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 is very good under conditions that it dictates, not a good deal for some one like me who needed to read the fine print and pay attention before buying.
